$1000 is the new $100
My coworker added this funny, yet true anecdote, to my show-and-tell this morning. As I noted that I dropped some money back into the economy over the weekend… with buying an iPad, I heard from behind me, “yea, seems like a grand is the new hundred.”
I chuckled and added it’s a true statement! I went into the Apple store expecting to pay about $1000 after adding in a few extras.
