Gave a presentation at Custom Building Products today! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 6 1/2 years of contract work with them. Just feels good to walk into a client’s office and be greeted with big smiles and warm “hey how yea doing” comments.
I think the presentation went well. I say this because, well, no one walked out…ha! And because during the 2nd part it seemed that creative juices were flowing by way of comments and analytical questions. By the 3rd part Read the rest of this entry »
The first quarter of 2010 has been professionally satisfying!
Just launched a small one-off site for my client of 6 years, Custom Building Products, www.CustomTVIS.com.
Here is a drafted version of the scope docs: CBP_TVIS_SitemapWireframes_Draftv2.2 And yes, the site is a bit different from my last version of this doc but I will refer to the lesson learned while selling shoes at Nordstrom, (yes, I was a shoe dog back in the day) the customer is always right!
The CustomTVIS site is my design. I developed it in PHP, MySQL and Flash.
On to the next project of redesign and redevelopment of their Jamo brand site, www.JamoInc.com. Plus a push of new products to their flagship site which I have maintained for 6 years, CustomBuildingProducts.com.
Thank you Custom for the work! I am proud of the years I’ve spent collaborating with your marketing team!
This project was quite a success!
While I was the director of digital media for the AVN Media Network (2007 – 2009), I often rolled up my sleeves and scoped projects myself, as well as front-end dev and project management. We ran so lean, it was just easier to spend a few weeks of late nights rather than tax an already taxed team.
To view a sampling of my sitemap, wireframe, user personas and flowchart, download this pdf document: Visio_ELA_sitemap_wireframe_personas_layout_flow
